Historical Note

Mosaic was an academic journal of literature, art, politics and opinion, published by students of the Harvard-Radcliffe Hillel Society of the B'nai B'rith. Its contributing authors consisted of both students and faculty. While its main audience was Jewish college students at Harvard, its popularity extended beyond Harvard and was well received by the general public.

The exact founding date of the journal is unknown, possibly 1959 or 1960, but it is certain that its last publication was spring of 1971.
