The collection contains charity donation records from 1924 through 1950.

Historical Note

Central Committee Knesseth Israel Charity of Rabbi Mair Baal Haness Eretz Israel of United Jewish Communities of Jerusalem (CCKIC) is a charity started in New York City in 1924 to allow Americans to financially aid in the formation of the Jewish state. After the formation of Israel in 1948, the charity continued to provide financial aid to Israel and American Jewry. As of September 2011, the charity was still operating though there is no information as to its current standing.

This collection is comprised of correspondence to and from the CCKIC pertaining to financial donations, including two receipts indicating donations and a will from the estate of charity donor, Mr. Nathan Roggen.
